2/12/04 – WCARC Board Meeting at Starvin Arvins, Fruita.

* Attendees:  Gary Smith, Bob & June Nickels, Kendall Kreiling, Larry Ball

* Treasurer’s Report:  June did not bring full books, but reported that we have $977.90 in checking, and over $300 in savings.

* By Laws Amendment:  There is a need to amend  Article V, Section 3 which establishes the club dues.   The Board is considering the following provisions:

	a.  Member dues to remain at $20.00.

	b. Set family dues as $30.00 to cover all licensed  immediate family members.

	c.  Dues for youth members, age 16 and under, should be $7.50 per year.

The proposed changes will be formalized and presented, for discussion, to the members attending the next meeting.  
Any new changes will then be incorporated, and a final amendment draft will be presented to the membership for 
approval.  If approved, all members will receive an updated copy of the By Laws and Constitution.

* Hamfest:  The Club is interested in sponsoring a Hamfest.
A committee should be selected to plan a small swap this fall, and a larger Hamfest next year; locations and 
dates to be determined.

* Up coming  programs:  Tour of the MC Comm center, discussion of  Echo Link, and IRLP.
