WCARC General Meeting of February 9.2008

The February
roster will accompany the minutes via E-Mail. If you know of any one not on the
list or have access to some of the missing information please advise the
secretary.
Discussion
followed regards the website and it was decided to have Jason Haley, KB0WLI act
as web master to bring it up to date as W0RRZ.org.
The program
of contesting was presented in two parts, 1st by Bill, K0UK and 2nd
by Dennis AA0YX. The 2nd part was a video presentation of Field Day
2007 at Dennis’s ranch. The program lasted about an hour with everyone
commenting on a great program and very interesting.
Dennis
reminded everyone that Field Day is the 4th weekend in June and its
June 27,28 and 29 in 2008. There was talk of the club
using the ranch for this year.
The March
program will be a follow up on contesting and the use of computers.
The 50/50
drawing was once again Terry KD0ACS who opted to return his share to the
treasury.
That’s two
consecutive times for Terry. Come on out in March to break the chain.
